This past November, Kart1 Distribution returned to IAAPA Expo Orlando, joining thousands of industry professionals for one of the most influential gatherings in the global attractions space. IAAPA 2025 welcomed more than 43,800 registered participants, with 38,500 verified attendees, underscoring the continued growth and momentum of family entertainment, attractions, and karting worldwide.
Throughout the week, Kart1’s booth became a meeting point for operators, developers, and industry leaders looking beyond individual products and toward complete karting solutions.
A Closer Look at Safety, Design, and Performance
At the center of many conversations were Protex Karting Barriers. Physical barrier samples allowed attendees to experience the quality, durability, and safety engineering firsthand. Operators exploring both single-level and multi-level track designs engaged in detailed discussions about layout flexibility, rider protection, and long-term operational value.
These conversations often extended beyond barriers alone. Many guests arrived with early concepts or future plans for new karting locations, using the booth as a space to explore how track design, safety systems, and kart selection all work together in a successful facility.
Showcasing the Full OTL Electric Kart Lineup
Alongside the barrier systems, Kart1 displayed their lineup of OTL Electrokart models, giving attendees a clear picture of how electric karting can scale across different venues and audiences.
The Superleggero and Junior rental karts drew strong interest from family entertainment centers and indoor race operators seeking dependable, high-performance electric fleets designed for daily operation. Their presence reinforced OTL’s reputation for blending Italian engineering with practical, operator-focused design.
The EGK and EGK Duo karts also had their time in the spotlight with many operators discovering the benefits of a commercial kart that adapts to their business model with a goal of allowing parents and their children to experience track time together for the first time in a high volume karting business.
Introducing the OTL Bambino to the U.S. Market
One of the more popular products within our booth was the U.S. debut of the OTL Bambino mini kart. Designed to introduce younger drivers to karting in a controlled and engaging way, the Bambino sparked conversations around guest accessibility, family-focused attractions, and long-term driver development.
For many attendees, the Bambino represented more than a new product – it highlighted how karting venues can expand their audience and create entry points for the next generation of drivers to grow into their brands.
A New Chapter in Electric Kart Performance
IAAPA 2025 also marked the debut of a new performance-focused collaboration: the OTL E Pro Kart powered by the BSR power unit. This partnership with Blue Shock Race brings competition-level electric performance into a platform designed for organized racing and advanced karting programs.
The unveiling generated strong interest from operators and racing organizations exploring the future of electric competition and structured racing pathways.
Looking Ahead
As the show came to a close, one theme remained consistent across conversations: the karting industry continues to evolve, and operators are thinking holistically about safety, performance, design, and guest experience. IAAPA Expo Orlando 2025 provided the setting for those conversations – and Kart1 Distribution was proud to be part of them.
